SUMMARY:Communicating with families of children with life-limiting conditions
DESCRIPTION:How to communicate with families who have children with life-limiting conditions. Part of a post graduate nursing course.\nThis 3 hour training session helps professionals and practitioners develop their practice in communicating with families. \nEach teaching session I deliver is tailored to client experience\, setting and learning objectives. The training can be stand alone or part of a larger module of work. It is relevant for those working within education\, health and social care\, whether they are still undergoing training or have been in the job for years. \nI aim to include our family’s story\, anecdotes\, current research\, reflective practice\, group work and discussion. Each session is interactive\, dynamic and memorable. I expect every learner to leave better informed with practical ways to improve their future practice.
